What the research reports

Rodent behavioral studies examine selank in anxiety and stress models: a 2017 study reported it enhanced the anxiety-reducing effect of diazepam in a chronic-mild-stress rat model, and a 2019 study reported effects on BDNF content in the hippocampus and prefrontal cortex in a rat memory model. At the molecular level, a 2016 Frontiers in Pharmacology study reported effects on genes involved in GABAergic neurotransmission, and a 2018 review summarized the molecular aspects of its biological activity.
